Moor Park Medical Practice has been open to patients throughout the Covid19 Pandemic. Appointments have been available for patients to book through the following ways:
Ring on the day at 8.00am
Pre book Appointments with a GP/Clinician of choice
Online Appointments available with all GP/Clinicians, Nurse and HCA
E Consult Appointments - Patients are able to complete a form online through our Website with a medical or administrative request form. Medical requests will be actioned within 48 hours of receipt, admin requests will take up to 72 hours to process.
Push Dr Appointments - Video Call - Patients can book these appointments anytime of day just ask the receptionist for a sms to be sent with the link on for booking. Appointments can ve booked at a time that suits the patient 8.00am-8.00pm Monday to Friday and Weekends as well
Extended Hours Appointments where patients can book appointments outside the normal surgery times on an evening or weekend
Extended Access Appointments can be booked where a GP from another Practice will either ring or see the patients on an evening or weekend
The Practice continues to give Flu Vaccinations at every opportunity. Patients can book in to FLU clinics or normal Nurse/HCA Clinics to have the Flu Vaccination. The Practice has sent all patients who have a mobile with authorisation for text messages a Link to book directly in to the clinics at the Practice. Patients with a home telephone number will be contacted by the Reception team and patients with no numbers will be sent a letter asking you to book the vaccination.
Clics was introduced October 2020 so is a relatively new service for our patients all staff can refer patients into this system so if patients don't want to book a GP/Clinician appointment they can ask to be referred by the Nurse or secretaries.
Moor Park Medical Practice will be delivering this service to our patients. Patients referred to CLICS service will be reviewed by a Community Connector and an Advanced nurse Practitioner so covering social and medical problems. The Community connector has resources to voluntary groups and services and can gain other information for patients whatever that may be. The ANP works together with Community Connector resolving medical issues. All these people come together with the GP's in a MDT meeting regularly.

This clinic is run by midwives. If you become pregnant, you will be referred to the midwife by the Secretary at the Practice please note staff may have to ask some questions to do the referral so please assist the clinicians or reception staff with this.

Child Health and Immunisation
All babies are invited for a 6 week check alongside a Postnatal Appointment for Mum babies from 8 weeks old are invited for regular check-ups and immunisations and will be seen by the health visitors.
For patients travelling abroad, our Nursing Team offers advice and travel vaccinations if necessary.
Led by our Nursing team, this clinic offers advice and general health check-ups to patients diagnosed with diabetes.
Asthma / COPD
Asthma sufferers can book an appointment for this clinic which is run by our nurses who specialise in asthma care.
